Getting to know the Siyandza Online Campus
Check out the benefits of online training to help you to decide if online learning is for you. The FAQ page may assist you further with any problems you may be having. The following steps will guide you through the Siyandza Online Campus registration process.
1. Click the "register" button in the top-right corner of the every page, or the register/login option on the navigation menu. This will take you to the registration page.

2. Fill out the form, taking care to complete all of the required fields (marked with an *).
3. Read through the privacy policy and ensure that you understand and agree to the terms. When you are comfortable with the policy, check the "I accept the terms of the privacy policy" tick box and click "register".
4. In order to protect your privacy, you will now receive a confirmation email. When the email arrives in your inbox, simply click the link supplied to complete the registration process.
Note: Your registration must be confirmed within 24 hours of dispatch of the confirmation email. If you do not complete the process within 24 hours your account will be removed and you will be required to restart the registration process.

Login

1. From the Siyandza Online Campus, click the "lock" button in the top-right corner of the screen or the register/login option on the navigation menu.

2. Enter your details as per your confirmation email click "login". (Should you have forgotten your login details, please click on "lost password" and follow the instructions.)
3. You will now be logged into the system. Welcome to the learning section of the campus.

Your Homepage
This is your homepage on Siyandza Online Campus. Why not have a look around and get acquainted with it? The image below will explain each aspect.
1. Clicking on "My Courses" will take you to your course page where you can manage courses once they have been purchased.
2. Clicking on "Course Catalogue" will take you to a complete list of the courses offered by the Siyandza Online Campus. Here you can browse for a course, or search for something specific. This is where you will click in order to purchase your courses.
3. Click "Change Password" should you need to change your details.
4. Logout will take you out of the learning section of the campus. You will be required to login again to access it.

Buying Courses
Now that you are registered with Siyandza Online Campus, you may purchase the course(s) you would like to complete.Courses can be purchased and managed directly from your homepage.
- Click "Courses Catalogue".
- Select the category of course you would like to complete or search by keyword.
- Select your course. If you are not sure what you would like to study, why not browse the industry selection page to help you to decide?
- When you have selected a course, click the "buy" button.
- Confirm placement into your shopping cart.
- If you would like to purchase more than one course, select another course from the list.
- Once you are satisfied with your selection, click the shopping cart link in the navigation menu – this will take you to your Cart Summary page. Check your purchases and click checkout if you are ready to proceed. If you want to remove an item, click the red "x" beside the item you wish to remove. Once your list is to your liking, click "proceed to checkout".

- For your first purchase of a course, you will be required to insert your billing details. Select "add new person" and fill out the required form.
- Select the credit card or EFT payment method and click proceed to checkout.
- Note:
- Credit card selection will take you to the MyGate secure payment system where you are required to insert your details. Credit card transactions may require verification for your peace of mind – this verification can take up to two working days.
- Courses will appear in your course list immediately, however the course will only be accessible once your payment has cleared.

- Check your order summary and click Check Out when satisfied.
- An invoice will now be emailed to you for your reference. Please print and retain this for reference should any issues later arise.
- Click "My Courses" to proceed back to your courses page.
Beginning Your Studies - Your Courses

On activation of your online learning courses, the lock symbol beside the course will be removed. You are now ready to begin the programme.

Before you begin your studies, you will need to check that you have the correct system requirements available on your computer. For details on the system requirements, please visit our FAQ page.
- Select the course you would like to begin studying.
- You will now have access to the lecture section of your course, available in the course modules tab.
- Choose a module from the "course modules" section and begin your studies.
- If you still do not have the correct system requirements, you will receive an error at this point and will need to install the components before you continue.

Completing Your Course
- Once you have completed your courseware, a mini assessment will test your knowledge of the programme.
- Complete and pass this mini assessment to complete your course.
- The assessment may be taken as many times as you feel is necessary.
- On completion of a course that calls for an international certification, you will be required to sit an external exam. These examinations must be taken at an authorised testing centre – Siyandza Online Campus does not facilitate these exams and it is up to you to organise and attend these examinations.
