- Can I preview a course before I choose to sign up for it?
Courses cannot be previewed, however once you are registered, a training demo is available should you wish to get a feel for the method of study.
- Why do I need to register?
Registration on our system is essential in making your experience a personal one, as well as ensuring that your online payments are kept secure. Registering allows us to provide you with a unique login name and password, as well as providing us with information for invoicing and certification purposes. Siyandza Online Campus guarantees that your details are kept entirely confidential and will only be used within the campus. - How do I register and how long will it take before I can start my courses?
Courses may be purchased as soon as you receive your username and password. If you have purchased credits via an electronic bank transfer, your course will become available within 48 hours of payment clearance. Credit card transactions may require verification for your peace of mind this verification can take up to two working days. - Will I get a student card when I enrol?
No, Siyandza Online Campus does not issue student cards.
Online Courses
- What books do I receive with my course?
You will not receive any hard copy material - all course material is presented online. Some of the more technical courses do have guides associated with the online content. You may request these guides when purchasing your course.
- How long do I have to complete a course?
The time frame allocated to each course is dependant on the length of the course itself. Please visit the course page for details.
- How long will my course take me to complete?
It depends on how much you study each week, and how quickly you will learn and apply the content. While you have 12 months to complete your course, working faster will allow you to get through your course material much sooner. A guideline to the recommended duration is included on the course pages
- Can I complete my course in stages or do I have to finish it all in one sitting?
Courses can be paused at any time and resumed at a later stage.
- Can I complete more than one course at a time?
Yes multiple courses may be completed simultaneously. It is up to you to decide how many courses you enrol for at one time
- Who developed the courses?
Siyandza Online Campus' courses were developed by our content partners in the USA, Element K and Prime.
- I can’t find the course I am looking for. How can I request courses that are not currently listed?
Please complete the contact form with the details of the course you are interested in. We are always looking at ways to make our campus bigger and better and the best way of doing this is to listen to our current and potential students. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Examinations, certification and accreditation
- How does the accreditation and qualification for the various courses work?
All courses present a mini assessment once the course has been completed. This mini assessment will qualify you for a Siyandza Online Campus Certificate of Training. Many of the professional courses offer international certification, however these require external examinations.
- What certificate will I get for my effort?
After each course taken there is a mini assessment which is included as part of the course content. If you complete the course and the mini assessment (with at least 80%), you will receive a Siyandza Online Campus Certificate of Training.
- Do I complete my examinations online?
No. In order to be internationally certified in many of the professional courses, you must pass an international vendor exam. These are external examinations and must be taken at an authorised testing centre (Prometric/PMI for example) Siyandza Online Campus does not facilitate these exams and it is up to you to organise and attend these examinations. - What if I fail an assessment?
An assessment at the end of each module/course can be taken multiple times, until you are comfortable with the knowledge.

- What is the system requirements to connect to the Siyandza Online Campus courses?
To successfully connect to Siyandza online learning content, you must:- Meet Siyandza hardware and software requirements; use an approved browser and system platform.
- Have Internet access with a 56K modem or broadband.
- Accept browser cookies.
- Enable JavaScript on your Web browser.
- Set your browser to refresh at every page.
- Not be behind a firewall that blocks cookies or blocks access to a secure server.
- Turn off pop-up blocking. (Internet Explorer Users only)
- Do I require a specific computer to connect to the Siyandza Online Campus?
Any computer that is able to connect to and surf the web in a satisfactory way is capable of connecting to the Siyandza Online Campus. Below are specific platforms that we certify.

- What should my browser settings be when I want to connect to the Siyandza Online Campus?
Using Siyandza Online Campus requires the browser settings and plug-ins listed below:

In addition to these requirements, some content has additional requirements. You will have a chance to see any content requirements before the content is launched.
- Siyandza Online Campus and Firewalls?
If your computer is located behind a firewall, you might not be able to access portions of Siyandza Online Campus. Firewalls sometimes block JavaScript or won't let you log in to a secure server, which Siyandza Online Campus requires. Ask your system administrator for further assistance with firewalls.
- Siyandza Online Campus and Beta Browsers?
We do not support Beta or pre-release versions of any browsers. Please use a full release version of a standard browser when using Siyandza Online Campus. We will support full release versions of standard browsers after the browser has been made available and tested, usually within six months of release.
- System Requirements for specific course content.
Siyandza Online Campus delivers a wide variety of training content. In some cases additional software is required to consume content. Look at the Overview Tab of each course page to learn about any specific content requirements.

- Who will help me in the case of a technical problem?
If you require assistance, please make use of the live support button at the bottom of every page. If live support is online, someone will respond immediately. If live support is offline, you may leave a message and a consultant will contact you as soon as they are available to assist you with your problem.

- What is the basic system requirements to connect to Siyandza Online Campus?
You will require access to a computer that has internet access. Because the courses utilise video and audio, as well as scenario demos, you will require at least an ADSL or ISDN internet connection. You will also need on your computer:

- Do you offer facilitated training sessions (face to face training in a classroom)
Yes, however this cannot be utilised through the Siyandza Online Campus. Facilitated training is offered only offered through Siyandza Skills Development. Please refer to the Siyandza Skills Development website for more information about their classroom training.
- I have not received a confirmation email.
Confirmation emails can take up to 1 hour to be delivered - please be patient. If for some reason you do not receive a registration email, you can contact support at support@siyandza-online.co.za. Alternatively, your account will be deleted after 24 hours, after which you may attempt to re-register.
- I have made a mistake on my registration form and need my details to be updated.
Please contact support (support@siyandza-online.co.za) – they will update your records accordingly.
- I have attempted to register but am told that my email address is already in use by another user.
Please contact support (support@siyandza-online.co.za) - they will investigate and advise accordingly.
- I am having problems with the payment service MyGate.
Please contact support (support@siyandza-online.co.za). Alternatively, please contact MyGate support.
- I have not received my invoice.
Please contact support@siyandza-online.co.za / live support desk – they will assist you with invoicing issues.
- I want to delete my account.

Costs and Payments
- What are the costs for online training?
The cost of the courses varies depending on the level, length and complexity of the course.
- Does the course price include the costs of the international exams?
The course price does not include the cost of the international exams. Many exams are priced in dollars, which means the exam price may fluctuate as the exchange rate fluctuates. However, Siyandza Online Campus does offer vouchers for exams for some courses.
- How do I pay for the courses I am interested in?
Siyandza Online Campus utilises a credit system. 1 Credit = R1. Payment for credits can be made through electronic transfer (EFT) or with a credit card. For more about payments, please visit the registration and payments page.
- Are there payment options or do I pay for all of my courses upfront?
Unfortunately, we do not allow for instalment payments as yet. All courses must be purchase upfront.
- Do I only pay for the courses I choose, or is there a monthly fee?
There is no monthly fee. You will only pay for the course/s you choose to complete.
- How do I know that my payment is secure?
Siyandza Online Campus utilises the MyGate payment gateway, a trusted payment service provider. MyGate utilises a secure high-grade encrypted connection ensuring the security of your payment. For more about MyGate and identifying a secure payment, please visit our registration and payments page.
- Why does Siyandza Online Campus utilise the MyGate payment system?
Siyandza Online Campus has found MyGate to be the most trusted payment gateway, utilised by many large South African names. As a local company, they offer helpful 24-hour support that is easily accessed.
- I have paid for a course via EFT and it is showing up on my home page, but it says it is locked and I cant access it. What is wrong with it?
When paying for a course via EFT, courses will only be made available once the money is released by the bank. The time this takes may depend on your bank. For more about payments, please visit the registration and payments page.
- What happens if I want to cancel a course?
In order to cancel a course, you are required to contact Siyandza directly with 48 hours of registration for the course. Course cancellation is at Siyandza's discretion you will be reimbursed with credits that may be utilised for another course. Please also refer to our refund policy.
- Will I get a refund if I purchased the wrong course?

Online learning is an effective learning and training system that relies on the internet as the primary delivery mode. Course materials are available entirely online and are accessible from any location where you have internet access.
- How does online learning work?
e-Learning enables a learner to view all content online, via the internet or other electronic means. When learning online, there is no trainer or teacher; all support takes place via e-mail or live support. For more information about online learning in the Siyandza Online Campus, click here.
- What are the benefits of online learning?

- Does Siyandza Online Campus incorporate NQF training?
No, but the courses are of international standards.
- What courses do I have to choose from?

- Are there any educational prerequisites for the courses I want to study?
Certain courses require that you complete earlier levels before progressing to more advanced coursework.

- How does online training work?
The Siyandza e-Campus offers an easy-to-use system that involves registration and course selection, after which you may begin studying. Courseware is offered in a variety of formats that include video and audio presentations, and interactive demonstrations and simulations. Once you have concluded your studies, you will complete an assessment. The advanced and professional courses require an external examination to be completed at a testing centre. - How do I know if online training is for me?
Online training can be extremely beneficial to those who want to further their education but require the flexibility that online learning offers. Online learning can also offer a cost-effective alternative to classroom training. However, online training is a very independent approach to obtaining an education, requiring focus self-motivation. Things to think about when considering on online training:- Am I able to manage my time?
- Can I stay focused without an instructor?
- Will there be a lot of distractions in my place of study?
- Are the courses internationally recognised? Will a potential employer recognise my qualification?
Many of the professional certificates are internationally recognised qualifications. Other courses offered by Siyandza Online Campus are designed specifically to provide you with the skills required to complete certain tasks. These skills will be recognised by potential employers.
